- Purpose of This Policy
This policy explains the requirements for practitioners who create, submit or maintain listings on MutiSquare and explains what MutiSquare means when a practitioner is identified as “Verified”.
MutiSquare aims to provide users with useful practitioner information while promoting honest, responsible and transparent listings.
- Who May Apply for a Practitioner Listing
Traditional healers and other practitioners whose services fall within the categories supported by MutiSquare may apply to create a listing.
MutiSquare may determine which practitioner categories and services are permitted on the platform and may change those categories as the platform develops.
Submitting a listing does not guarantee that it will be approved or published.
- Practitioner Responsibility
Practitioners are responsible for ensuring that information submitted to MutiSquare is truthful, accurate, current and lawful.
Practitioners must not intentionally provide false or misleading information about themselves, their services, experience, qualifications, registrations, location or identity.
Practitioners should update their listings when important information changes.
- Information Required for Listings
Depending on the type of listing, MutiSquare may request information including:
- practitioner or healer name;
- contact information;
- telephone or WhatsApp number;
- location and areas served;
- practitioner category;
- services or specialities;
- consultation type;
- languages spoken;
- profile photographs;
- operating information; and
- other information reasonably necessary for the listing.
MutiSquare may change the information required for listings as the platform develops.
- Public Information
Practitioners acknowledge that information submitted for publication as part of their listing may be visible to members of the public.
This may include the practitioner’s name, photographs, contact details, location or areas served, services, specialities, languages and consultation information.
Practitioners should not submit information for public display that they do not want visitors to MutiSquare to see.
- Verification
MutiSquare may offer a verification process for practitioners.
Verification may involve checking specified information supplied by a practitioner, which may include identity information, contact information and/or other supporting information considered appropriate by MutiSquare.
MutiSquare may determine the verification requirements applicable at the time an application is made.
- Meaning of “Verified”
A “Verified” status means only that MutiSquare has checked specified identity, contact and/or supporting information submitted by the practitioner according to MutiSquare’s verification process at that time.
Verified status does NOT mean that MutiSquare:
- certifies the practitioner’s healing ability;
- guarantees the practitioner’s services;
- guarantees any consultation or treatment result;
- endorses every statement made by the practitioner;
- guarantees the practitioner’s future conduct; or
- accepts responsibility for services provided by the practitioner.
Users must still exercise their own judgment when selecting a practitioner.
- Verification Documents and Information
Where verification is requested, practitioners must provide genuine and accurate information.
A practitioner must not submit altered, fraudulent, stolen or misleading documents or information.
MutiSquare may request additional information where reasonably necessary to complete or maintain verification.
Verification information that is not intended for publication will be handled in accordance with MutiSquare’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.
- Refusal or Removal of Verification
MutiSquare may refuse, suspend or remove Verified status where:
- information cannot reasonably be confirmed;
- false or misleading information has been supplied;
- required information is no longer valid;
- a practitioner refuses reasonable verification requests;
- serious complaints require further investigation;
- the listing breaches MutiSquare policies; or
- continued verification would reasonably create a risk to users or the platform.
Removal of Verified status does not necessarily mean that wrongdoing has been conclusively established.
- Listing Content
Practitioner listings should describe services clearly and responsibly.
Practitioners must not knowingly publish content that is:
- false or deliberately misleading;
- fraudulent;
- threatening or abusive;
- unlawfully discriminatory;
- defamatory;
- sexually exploitative;
- designed to impersonate another person;
- in violation of another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights; or
- otherwise unlawful.
- Claims About Services and Results
Practitioners must not use MutiSquare to make deliberately false, fraudulent or unlawful guarantees.
Practitioners should not guarantee that they can produce a specific healing, medical, financial, employment, relationship, legal, spiritual or other outcome where such a guarantee would be misleading or unlawful.
MutiSquare may request that misleading wording be amended or removed.
- Photographs and Media
Practitioners may only upload photographs, logos or other media that they are entitled to use.
Practitioners must not upload another person’s photograph and falsely represent that person as themselves.
Images containing unlawful, abusive or inappropriate content may be removed.
- Contact Details
Practitioners are responsible for maintaining accurate telephone, WhatsApp, email and other contact information associated with their listing.
MutiSquare is not responsible where customers cannot reach a practitioner because the practitioner has failed to update their contact details.
- Free Listings
MutiSquare may offer free or basic practitioner listings.
The features available under a free listing may differ from those available under paid or promotional listings.
MutiSquare may change listing features from time to time.
- Featured, Promoted and Paid Listings
MutiSquare may offer paid listings, Featured status, Promoted listings or other advertising and visibility options.
Payment for increased visibility or advertising does not mean that MutiSquare certifies, recommends or guarantees the practitioner’s services.
Featured or Promoted status is separate from Verified status.
A practitioner may therefore be promoted for advertising purposes without the promotion itself constituting verification of healing ability or service quality.
- Practitioner Payments to MutiSquare
Where MutiSquare charges for listings, advertising, promotion or additional platform functionality, the applicable price and conditions will be communicated before purchase.
Payments made by practitioners to MutiSquare are separate from consultation payments made directly by customers to practitioners.
- Customer Payments
Customers arrange and pay consultation fees directly to practitioners.
Practitioners are responsible for clearly communicating their prices, deposits, payment arrangements, cancellation conditions and any applicable refund conditions to customers.
MutiSquare does not currently collect or hold consultation payments between customers and practitioners.
- Reviews and Ratings
Where MutiSquare permits ratings or reviews, practitioners must not create false reviews or arrange fabricated reviews intended to manipulate their rating.
Practitioners must not threaten or harass users because of genuine feedback.
MutiSquare may investigate or remove reviews that violate its policies.
- Complaints About Practitioners
MutiSquare may receive and investigate complaints concerning practitioner listings or conduct.
Practitioners may be asked to provide information or respond to allegations where appropriate.
A complaint does not automatically establish wrongdoing.
MutiSquare may consider the seriousness of the allegation, available evidence, user safety and applicable law when deciding what action to take.
- Suspension or Removal of Listings
MutiSquare may suspend, restrict or remove a practitioner listing where reasonably necessary, including where:
- false information has been submitted;
- fraudulent activity is suspected;
- serious safety concerns arise;
- the practitioner impersonates another person;
- the practitioner repeatedly violates MutiSquare policies;
- unlawful services or content are advertised;
- the account is being misused; or
- removal is required by applicable law.
Where appropriate, MutiSquare may allow a practitioner an opportunity to provide information or correct a problem before permanent removal.
Serious cases may justify immediate temporary suspension while a matter is investigated.
- Reporting Fraud and Abuse
Practitioners and users are encouraged to report suspected fraud, impersonation, threats, scams or other serious misconduct through the MutiSquare Contact page.
MutiSquare may request supporting information when investigating a report.
- Practitioner Accounts
Practitioners are responsible for protecting their account passwords and login credentials.
Practitioners should notify MutiSquare if they reasonably believe their account has been compromised.
Accounts must not be used to impersonate another practitioner or conduct fraudulent activity.
- Removal by the Practitioner
Practitioners may request removal or closure of their listing subject to any applicable account, contractual, payment, legal or record-retention requirements.
Certain information may need to be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for legitimate administrative or dispute-resolution purposes.
- Changes to This Policy
MutiSquare may update this policy as the platform, verification process and practitioner services develop.
The latest version will be published on the MutiSquare website with an updated revision date.
